Who can access the Pit?


Pit User Public Pit License (PPL)** Required Type of Aggregate Extraction
Commercial Yes Medium to Large Scale
Drive Up* No Small to Large Scale
Public Works Yes Varies for provincial and municipal projects
*Drive-Up, One Time Pit Users will not be mining in the pit, so no PPL is required.
**The PPL process has yet to be finalized so PPLs are not currently available.
