Coffey Lake Public Gravel Pit Contract Awarded
In March 2019, Athabasca Minerals Inc. (AMI) was awarded a contract by Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) to manage the Coffey Lake Public Gravel Pit north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a responsibility we take seriously because we recognize that Alberta’s land is a valuable resource with multiple uses for Indigenous people, wildlife, industry, and the general public. We also understand the importance of sand and gravel as an essential, non-renewable resource that is critical to the well-being of Alberta and its economy.
